OP Corporate Bank plc Latvian branch to relocate its office to the Preses Nama Kvartāls Class A Business Centre
The relocation to the new premises on Balasta dambis, following the completion of the building, is part of the bank’s development plan, with a strong focus on a sustainable working environment, employee well-being, and a modern customer experience.
The new office will be situated in one of the most modern business centres in Latvia, designed in line with high energy efficiency and sustainability standards. The Preses Nama Kvartāls Class A office building is being developed as a nearly zero-energy building with a BREEAM “Excellent” certification, ensuring a modern, environmentally friendly, and comfortable workplace.

“Working environment has a significant impact on both employee well-being and the day-to-day work experience. When choosing our new office at Preses Nama Kvartāls, it was important for us to create a space that fosters collaboration, supports flexible ways of working, and enhances employee well-being. The view of Riga’s historic centre adds further value. At the same time, the new location will also be conveniently accessible for our customers,” says Agnese Eglīte, Head of Finance and Administration at OP Corporate Bank plc Latvian branch.
Sustainability plays a key role in OP Pohjola’s values and long-term perspective, and therefore energy efficiency was a decisive factor in selecting the new office space. “We are continuously looking for ways to be more environmentally friendly in everything we do, and as participants in the World Wide Fund for Nature Green Office programme, it is important for us to work in an environment that meets modern sustainability standards,” adds A. Eglīte.
The Preses Nama Kvartāls business centre was selected for its sustainable solutions, spacious and flexible office layouts, and well-developed infrastructure, ensuring convenient access for clients.
“More and more companies are choosing offices not only as a workplace, but also as a strategic tool to strengthen company culture, values, and development goals. We are delighted that OP Corporate Bank plc has chosen Preses Nama Kvartāls as its future home, recognising the project’s sustainability solutions, quality, and its potential to create a modern working environment for employees and clients,” says Jekaterina Zariņa, Leasing Manager of Preses Nama Kvartāls.
The Preses Nama Kvartāls business centre is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026. It will form part of a multifunctional district that will include office space, public outdoor areas, various services, and modern infrastructure for a sustainable urban environment.
