The new centre in Saldus is energy-efficient and sustainable - equipped with 158 solar panels, the total power of which exceeds 70kW. It’s planned that the electricity produced by the solar panels will cover from 35% to 90% of the annual electricity consumption, significantly increasing the company's competitiveness and reducing the amount of CO2 emissions.

"We are happy to support projects that promote sustainable business growth and development. SIA "Stokker" has created one of its most energy-efficient and sustainable service centres, thus ensuring both the efficient use of resources and reducing the impact of its business on the environment," says Elmārs Prikšāns, General Manager of OP Corporate Bank plc Latvian branch.

In addition, as part of the energy efficiency improvement project, electric car charging station with the possibility to charge two electric cars simultaneously has been launched in the new centre.

Manager of Stokker and Stokker Agritech Indrek Lillend says: "This is already the thirteenth Stokker centre in Latvia, which concludes our two-year project of building several new tool and equipment centres in different regions - in Riga, Gulbene, Talsi, and Saldus, with a total investment of approx.  EUR 5 million. The aim of this project was to significantly expand the range of goods offered at Stokker tool centres and to increase the capacity of services provided by Stokker Agritech, as well as to continue implementing the "green course" started a couple of years ago in our daily business."

The construction of the new sales and service centre in Saldus started in May 2023 and lasted 10 months.
