Customer success stories: The new building of Dr. Mauriņš Clinic in Mežaparks

Six operating theatres, twenty consultation and procedure rooms, and seven wards have been equipped in the building, the construction of which was financed by OP Corporate Bank plc. Latvia branch.

The building was designed by SIA DIDRIHSONS ARHITEKTI and it has been nominated for the annual Latvian Architecture Award. Sustainability is built into the fabric and daily life of the building – it is powered by 272 solar panels with a total capacity of 125 kW, generating around 112,000 kWh of electricity per year.

Once a small consulting room at its outset in 2009, the clinic is now a Latvian success story – one of Europe’s most modern laser and vein therapy clinics, where thousands of patients undergo aesthetic and dermatological procedures, as well as treatment for vein, proctological, gynaecological and other diseases every year.
