OP Corporate Bank plc Latvia Branch has granted a 15-million euro line of credit to Rīgas ūdens
OP Corporate Bank plc Latvia Branch has signed an agreement with Rīgas ūdens LLC for granting a 15-million euro line of credit for the implementation of investment programme projects.
“Modern and sustainable companies constitute the backbone of the economy nowadays. OP Bank is convinced that the initiated cooperation will strengthen the development of the largest centralised water supply company in Latvia, providing consumers with quality infrastructure that will also enhance the competitiveness of Riga and its surroundings in the Baltic region,” said Elmārs Prikšāns, Head of OP Corporate Bank plc Latvia Branch upon signing the agreement.
OP Corporate Bank plc obtained the right to grant a line of credit to Rīgas ūdens in the procurement competition. The loan agreement of a 15-million line of credit was granted for 180 days.
Rīgas ūdens supplies drinking water to residents, companies, institutions, and organisations in Riga, as well as processed wastewater purification. The Riga City Council is the sole proprietor of the company.
