At the press event dedicated to the opening of the exhibition, Elmārs Prikšāns, Head of OP Corporate Bank plc Latvia Branch, emphasised: "Contemporary art challenges the dominating trends. OP Corporate Bank, as a business bank, sees in the foreground, how quickly these topical trends are changing and how rapidly the global development rates are growing. It is definitely worth devoting some time to taking a look at the exhibition, and not only to become aware of the revolution that has already occurred, but also to understand what each of us needs to get along with the rapid changes and modern challenges."

Finland’s Museum of Contemporary Art KIASMA is a place where different views are forever coming into contact, making people look at art and cultural phenomena in an unusual way. The selection of works for the Riga exhibition is associated with the pop-art direction. The exhibition will be accompanied by various activities - workshops for children and families, lectures, discussions in the museum, etc., for example, public lecture of the art critic, lecturer of the Latvian Academy of Arts Helēna Demakova on 1 December 2017, at 17:30 o'clock in the conference hall of the Art Museum Riga Bourse, where the lecturer will tell us about the global expressions of the post-pop art movement not only in the USA and Europe, but also in China, Russia and elsewhere.

The exhibition "With Seven-league Boots. Stop – Finland. Works from the Kiasma Collection" is dedicated to the centenaries of the Republic of Finland and the Republic of Latvia. The exhibition is on view in the Art Museum Riga Bourse (Doma laukums 6, Old Riga) till 7 January 2018.
